4. Legal bases
Where UK data-protection law applies, we process information where it is necessary to provide the service you request or take steps before entering into an agreement, to comply with a legal obligation, for our legitimate interests in running and protecting BCT, or with your consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
5. Sign-in and service providers
Secure account authentication and website/app hosting are provided through the technology services used to operate BCT. Those providers may process limited account, device and technical information on our behalf or under their own privacy terms. We only use service providers where reasonably necessary to operate, secure and support the service.
6. Sharing and selling information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the app for third-party advertising. We may share limited information with service providers that help us host, authenticate, maintain or protect the service, with professional advisers where necessary, or where disclosure is required by law. We do not permit service providers to use information for unrelated purposes.
7. Storage, security and retention
We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Information is transmitted using secure connections. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, manage the professional relationship, resolve disputes, protect the service and meet legal, accounting or regulatory obligations. When it is no longer required, information is deleted or anonymised where reasonably practicable.
8. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access to, correction of, deletion of or restriction of your personal information, or object to certain uses. You may also ask for a portable copy where this right applies.
To request account or associated-data deletion, or exercise another privacy right, email terri.bowell1984@gmail.comfrom the email address linked to your account. We may need to verify your identity. Some information may be retained where legally required.
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your information has been handled. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
9. Professional and client information
Practitioners must not send unnecessary client-identifiable information, medical details or treatment photographs through general support messages. Spas and clinics remain responsible for their own client records, privacy notices, lawful bases, consent processes and data-protection obligations.
10. International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers in accordance with applicable data-protection law.
